Delegation from SCUT’s School of Materials Science and Engineering Visits JSJ Silicon Materials for Exchange

On January 5, Meng Xun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at South China University of Technology (SCUT), and Guo Baochun, Dean of the School, led a team of rubber experts to visit JSJ Silicon Materials’ production base in Zhaoqing for an inspection and exchange. JSJ General Manager Ms. Ren Zhenxue, accompanied by key personnel from R&D, public affairs, and other core departments, warmly received the delegation and engaged in in-depth discussions.

Accompanied by General Manager Ren Zhenxue, the expert team toured JSJ’s Product Experience Center. During the visit, the delegation received a detailed briefing on JSJ’s development history, strategic layout, core product portfolio, and future business directions. The discussions focused on cutting-edge R&D and technology transfer in high-performance silica for tires, as well as practical pathways for deeper industry-academia-research collaboration. The exchange was pragmatic, efficient, and highly productive.

This visit significantly strengthened mutual understanding between the university and the company in the field of R&D and application of high-performance precipitated silica for tires, laying a solid foundation for building a collaborative innovation platform.
